Stone restoration service

We can help restore your stone to its very best – whether your preferred look is pristine and polished, or subtly weathered and time-worn. We can recommend proven experts using specialised equipment to clean and restore your natural stone floors and surfaces.

One of the things we – and everyone we know – loves about natural stone, is that it just gets better with age, and pretty much lasts forever. But even this most enduring, durable and time-resistant of products can reach a stage when it needs a little care. And, if you can restore rather than replace existing stone that’s taken a bit of a battering, you get the best of all worlds – that desirable, time-worn look, without tearing anything up.

Do you have natural stone that needs restoration work?

Maintaining and cleaning natural stone is a highly-skilled process. We can help bring your stone back to its best – whether that is pristine and polished, or subtly weathered and time-worn.

We have worked with our partners Silex UK for many years. Expert craftspeople use specialised equipment such as diamond grinding to deliver specialist cleaning, grinding, polishing and resealing of natural stone and some man-made products.

The service comprises:

  • detailed site survey
  • tailored quotation, including images to illustrate the work that will be carried out
  • restoration work completed
  • a bespoke maintenance and after-care programme taking into account the specific location and use of the stone. Programme will include recommendations for sealants, cleaners and polishes
  • free follow-up survey every 2-3 years to advise on further maintenance needs

Surfaces including floors, showers, wetrooms, kitchen worktops, patios, swimming pools and staircases.

Any contract you enter into with a stone restorer is between you and the restorer only and shall confer no liability on Sarsen Stone Group Ltd (trading as Artisans of Devizes, “Artisans”). As such, Artisans is not responsible for any aspect of a restorer’s service and, if you are not satisfied with the service provided by a restorer, you will need to raise your complaint direct with the restorer. We will, of course, welcome any feedback you may have about any restorer who is recommended to you by Artisans of Devizes.
